Wireless Access at CPIT

CPIT WIfi Zone

CPIT's Information Technology department provides both staff & students access to the CPIT network with their own personal laptops via CPIT-Wifi, a WiFi network.

CPIT-Wifi is available where ever you see the CPIT-Wifi availability poster including the areas below.

Connection to the wireless network is only restricted by a shared password, but to get access to services like the internet. You will need to have a current CPIT username and password.

CPIT-Wifi will allow you to;

  • Access the internet (via CPIT’s proxy server)
  • Access any of CPIT's websites including; Moodle, Student Webmail & Student Portal
  • Access your Home folder (G Drive)
  • Access Shared folders (P Drive)
  • Printing (you will need to install the iPrint client)
