E-Cast
CPIT has purchased a subscription to E-Cast Education. This is an Internet based TV service that allows you to download TV programs that have appeared on the main New Zealand TV networks (as well as a selection of international channels) and replay them to you students.
Although many programs have been pre-selected for educational content and are made available through the "Ready to Watch" service you can also request in advance programs that you would like recorded.
Please avoid storing downloaded programs on a network drive, if you believe that you will want to access a program multiple times (or think a colleague would be interested) then please use the archive function of E-Cast. This way we will be using the E-Cast server for long term storage rather than our own IT infrastructure.
